I am on Glipizide 5mg once per day for my diabetes. However my eating has been atrocious lately and my sugar is staying in the 130's to 140's. I've heard that cinnamon is good for lowering blood sugar. I wonder how much I have to eat to gain its benefits.
Any ideas for "sweets" for the sweet tooth.
Thanks |

| When I crave something sweet, a small handful of sweetened cereal does the trick (HoneyNut Cheerios are my fave). Or a few jelly beans works too. |

I think the conception has changed a lot now, there was a time when the popular notion was to believe sweets are extremely hazardous for the health of the persons who are dealing with the blood sugar problems. But now science has confirmed that there is no such harm in consuming them provided they are taken in limited proportions. So once you are abiding with this I think you wont be having a problem checking your sugar levels and as well as relishing the sweets of your liking. _________________ Can someone pertain info. on fosamax |

| I've heard the same thing about cinnamon being good for regulating blood sugar. I think pumpkin is effective also. Good luck! |
