Here’s a good salsa recipe to get the taste buds going. It comes from our Safeway’s new summer site.

Savory Mango Salsa

2 firm-ripe mangoes
1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
2 tbsp. chopped O Organics™ Cilantro
1 tbsp. lime juice
1/4 tsp. Safeway Salt
1 fresh jalapeño chile, seeded and minced

Peel mangoes. Slice fruit off pits and peel and cut into 1/2-in. chunks.

2. In a bowl, mix mangoes, onion, cilantro, lime juice, and salt. Add chile to taste.

3. Serve as topping on our special pulled pork sandwiches or on its own as a refreshingly tasty side dish.

PER SERVING 37 CAL., 0% (1.8 CAL.) FROM FAT; .4 G PROTEIN; .1 G FAT (0 G SAT.); 9.5 G CARBO (.7 G FIBER); 74 MG SODIUM; 0 MG CHOL.
