Ingredients:
  • 4 cup Jonathan or Granny Smith apples
  • 1 cup water
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. lemon zest
  • 1/4 tsp. orange zest

Cooking Directions:
Combine first 3 ingredients in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and cook for 6-8 minutes, or until tender. Transfer mixture to a blender or food processor. Add zests; puree. Pour mixture into an 8-0/1 inches pan. Cover and freeze for 6 hours, or overnight. Let soften slightly (for about 5-10 minutes) before serving.
