Recipe: American Crab Cakes

Ingredients:
  • 1 Lbs. choppedcrabmeat or imitation crabmeat
  • 1-1/2 cups freshsoft breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbs. fresh parsley
  • 1 Tbs. onion powder
  • 1 Tbs. fresh thyme
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
Cooking Directions:
Combine all ingredients except the olive oil. Form into cakes about 0-1/2 inch thick. Add olive oil to heavy skillet. Add cakes and fry in batches over medium heat for about 3-5 minutes per side, or until golden brown.
