| Recipe: Texas-Style Pork Barbecue |

| Ingredients: |
- 2 tsp. unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup onion\cooked, coarsely chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 3/4 cup chili sauce
- 1 Tbs. brown sugar
- 1 Tbs. vinegar
- 1 Tbs. molasses
- 1 Tbs. water
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
- 1 tsp. prepared mustard
- 1/4 tsp. liquid smoke
- 1/8 tsp. ground red pepper
- 4 onion roll, split and toasted
- 3/4 Lbs. boneless cooked pork loin, thinly sliced

| Cooking Directions: |
Melt butter in a heavy nonstick saucepan over medium heat. Saute onion and garlic until tender. Stir in next 9 ingredients and season with salt to taste. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer about 15 minutes, uncovered. Add pork slices to saucepan and stir gently to coat pork with sauce. Continue to heat about 5 minutes, until pork is heated through. To serve, place pork on bottom half of rolls and top with roll tops. Serve any extra sauce on the side. |
