Recipe: Polish Sausage with Cabbage and Beer

Ingredients:
  • 1 head green cabbage, coarsely chopped
  • 1 head red cabbage, coarsely chopped
  • 3/4 tsp. caraway seed
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1-1/2 Lbs. cooked Polish sausage
  • 1-1/2 cups beer
  • water
Cooking Directions:
Combine cabbage, caraway and sugar in a large pot. Top with sausage. Add beer and enough water to cover. Simmer uncovered over medium heat 10-12 minutes until cabbage is tender. Drain and serve.
