Recipe: Pasta Shells with Mushrooms and Almonds

Cooking Time: 15 min.
 
Ingredients:
  • 2/3 cup dried porcini mushrooms
  • 3/4 Lbs. smallpasta shells
  • 2 tsp. Oriental sesame oil
  • 1/3 cup cilantro or parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup slivered almonds, chopped

Cooking Directions:
Cover mushrooms with hot water and soak 15 minutes. Drain, reserving 1/4 cup soaking liquid. Chop mushrooms and set aside. Cook pasta shells in boiling salted water until al dente. Drain well. Heat oil in a heavy nonstick skillet over medium high heat. Saute mushrooms 2 minutes. Add reserved soaking liquid and saute another 2 minutes. Add to pasta with remaining ingredients and toss.
