Recipe: Zesty Lemon Buttered Broccoli

Ingredients:
  • 1 Lbs. broccoli florets\cooked
  • 1 Tbs. unsalted butter
  • 1 Tbs. lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp. lemon zest
  • 1/4 tsp. salt (optional), or to taste

Cooking Directions:
Place broccoli in a steamer basket over boiling water. Cover saucepan and steam 5-7 minutes, or until bright green and just tender. Melt butter in a heavy nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add lemon juice, zest, broccoli, and salt and pepper to taste. Toss with broccoli before serving.
