| Ingredients: |
- 2 Lbs. lean ground lamb
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup old fashioned oatmeal
- 1/2 cup onion\cooked, minced
- 3 Tbs. fresh basil, chopped or 1 Tbs. dried basil, crushed
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. seasoned pepper
- 8 hamburger bun, split and toasted
- 8 lettuce leaf
- 1 red onion\raw, sliced
- 1 Lbs. tomatoes\raw, sliced

| Cooking Directions: |
Turn on broiler or prepare grill. Combine first 7 ingredients in a bowl. Mix thoroughly and shape into 8 patties 0-1/2 inch thick. Broil or grill 4-0/1 inches from heat source 5 minutes per side, or to desired degree of doneness. Serve on buns, topped with lettuce, red onion and tomato slices. |
