Recipe: Camembert Pastrami Squares

Ingredients:
  • 1 oz. butter
  • 1/3 Lbs. Camembert cheese, rind removed, room temperature
  • 1 tsp. mayonnaise
  • 2 tsp. fresh chives, chopped
  • 1/2 Lbs. pumpernickel squares
  • 3-1/2 oz. sliced pastrami, cut in 2-0/1 inch squares
  • 2 tsp. fresh chives, chopped
Cooking Directions:
Beat first 3 ingredients in a small bowl with an electric mixer until smooth. Stir in chives. Spread each pumpernickel square with a level teaspoon of camembert mixture. Roll up pastrami squares and place onto pumpernickel squares. Top with remaining cheese mixture and extra chives. Makes about 20.
