| Recipe: Chicken Wings in Ginger Plum Sauce |

| Ingredients: |
- 8 tsp. peanut oil
- 2 Lbs. chicken pieces (legs or wings)
- 4 tsp. cornflour
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 4 tsp. fresh ginger, grated
- 3 green shallot, chopped
- 3/4 cup plum sauce
- 4 tsp. light soy sauce

| Cooking Directions: |
Heat oil in a heavy nonstick frying pan over medium high heat. Cook chicken about 15 minutes, turning until cooked through. Discard excess drippings from pan. Combine cornflour and water in a jar with a tight-fitting lid. Shake well and add to pan with remaining ingredients and wings. Bring to a boil and simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes, stirring occasionally until mixture thickens. |
