Recipe: Grilled Steaks with Jalapeno Cucumber Relish

Ingredients:
  • 1-1/2 cups cucumber, seeded and diced
  • 3 Tbs. red onion\cooked, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp. jalapeno pepper, or to taste (wear rubber gloves)
  • 1/4 cup plain yogurt
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp. fresh lemon juice
  • 2 top sirloin steak, at room temperature

Cooking Directions:
Prepare grill or broiler. Combine first 6 ingredients and salt to taste in a bowl and set aside. Generously season steaks with salt and freshly ground black pepper. Grill or broil steaks 4-5 minutes per side about 5-0/1 inches from heat source, or until desired doneness. Serve steaks with relish.
