I came to the field of medical advocacy through my experiences as: the mother of a child with many overlapping, highly complicated medical diagnoses. the daughter of one parent with a spinal cord injury. and another parent with early and rapidly progressing Alzheimer’s disease.

Sometimes we all need to take a few-minute break to refresh our minds and restore our spirits, in whatever way works best. I like to look upon a wonderous scene in nature and realize that "I Am Free To. . . "  Be Gentle With Myself Change My Mind Say "No" Without Guilt Enjoy The Moment
