Now here is a new way to make chicken - and it just might improve your sex life and overall health, too. According to health psychologists Dr. Robert Fried and Dr. Lynn Edlen-Nezin, typical American meals don't provide us with the nutrients necessary for the best sexual performance. Their new book, Great Food, Great Sex, offers simple recipes from the federal government's National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute that they contend will provide enough nutrients - especially nitric oxide, the "proven miracle molecule for optimal sexual function - to help boost our sexual performance. The recipes are part of Fried and Edlen-Nezin's Peak Sexual Performance Diet. "Let us be perfectly clear: the Peak Sexual Performance Diet does not claim to make you want more sex, but it will help you to have better sex when you do want it," the authors write. "In terms of human behavior, a pleasant experience is more rewarding than an unpleasant one - the more often you have pleasurable sex, the more likely you will be to want to repeat the experience." So here's to great chicken and great sex: Finger-Licking Curried Chicken1 1/2 tsps curry powder Mix together curry powder, thyme, scallion, hot pepper, cayenne pepper, black pepper, garlic, ginger, onion, and salt. Sprinkle seasoning mixture on chicken. Marinate for at least 2 hours in the refrigerator. Heat oil in skillet over medium flame. Add chicken and saute. Add water and allow chicken to cook over medium flame for 30 minutes. Add diced potatoes and cook for an additional 30 minutes. Makes 6 servings.
