Slow and Steady Wins the Race |

Page 1 of 2 Of course I’d love to say that I will lose 10 pounds this month, no problem. But for me, it’s not a realistic goal, and many experts say it’s not healthy. According to the Mayo Clinic, “healthy weight loss occurs slowly and steadily,” and at a rate of one to two pounds per week. So my goals for the next 30 days are as follows:
- Lose 5 pounds by August 17.
- Exercise at least three times each week, for a minimum of 30 minutes.
