Quick & Easy: Banana Blueberry SmoothieWhat better way to start the day than with a bright blue pick-me-up. This one is full of flavor and gets an extra shot of heart-healthy omega 3s from its secret ingredient: hemp seeds. You can substitute flax seed if you can't find hemp, but the hemp is easier to grind.

And any healthy eater knows about the antioxidant prowess of blueberries and bananas' rich potassium.

Banana Blueberry Smoothie

Makes 1 serving

8 ounces nonfat soy milk or rice milk
1 frozen banana (cut into chunks before freezing)
1 cup frozen blueberries
1/2 cup (that's 4 ounces) nonfat vanilla yogurt
