Page 2 of 2 By the time Monday afternoon rolled around, I desperately wanted it to be Friday. This whole week got off to a bad start, and honestly, I can not wait until it’s over.
Every time I get overwhelmed, anxious, or stressed like this, the same thing happens. I completely slack off on my workout routine, even though I know full well that exercising will scientifically help me feel better. I know that I can go for a run or hit the machines at the gym…not to mention yoga, the poster child for stress relief. But instead, I do nothing. And frankly, this sedentary behavior is not doing much for my mood. Any advice on how I can encourage myself to get up and moving when I have stressful weeks such as these?
