Page 1 of 2 Do you like to read novels? While I’m more of a “self-help” and “how-to” reader, one notable novel recently caught my attention. It’s called Water with Lemon, written by Zonya Foco, RD (registered dietitian), and Stephen Moss. The cover calls it an “Inspiring Story of Diet-Free, Guilt-Free Weight Loss.” I couldn’t pass that up….
Water with Lemon is the story of a woman who is 60 pounds overweight and struggling in her personal life. Through the help of her neighbors, she experiences a personal transformation – inside and out. Nutrition, health and weight-loss information are woven into the entire story. Through the challenges of the characters in the book, the reader learns how eight powerful core habits, when mastered one at a time, can change lives. This book is inspiring reading for anyone interested in healthy eating. It offers a unique perspective for those who want to lose weight, maintain weight or just improve their eating habits. I’ll let you know more about the eight core habits as I read further into the story. Has anyone read this book? I’d love to hear your reviews.
