This is the first holiday season in a long time that I haven't felt like I've completely overdone it with food. Trust me, there have been plenty of temptations all around me this past month, and although I haven't passed up every piece of chocolate or cheese, I have exercised fairly good willpower. And as a result, my pants fit the same (if not a little looser) than they did a couple of months ago. And that's a great feeling to have as I head into the new year.

A few months ago, I started thinking about resolutions I wanted to make for 2008. And this year, I took a different approach. Instead of waiting until Auld Lang Syne to "start doing this" or "stop doing that", I actually put some of these plans into action a couple of months ago. And now, as I head into the new year, these resolutions don't seem so new or strange anymore, and they feel more like a part of me, rather than a grandiose, unreachable goal.

So here's to eating well, exercising lots, getting more organized, not feeling guilty about everything, learning how to relax, and a few others. What are some of yours?

With the exception of my chocolate and chips binge yesterday, I think I've been fairly good as well. My weaknesses are definitely of the wine and champagne variety though :) I need to start brainstorming about my New Years Resolutions...I'm going to try to be more consistent about volunteering!

New Year's Resolution
Learning how to relax :zzz that is deifnately one of mine. Organization definately is not a problem for me but stressing about how the house looks, putting everything in their place the minute it is moved, that is my problem. I have to try to not let everything get to me so that is my resolution. Look the other way (for a while anyway LOL) :grin I know me, it won't last that long but for the first week of the new year I will try :) Happy New Year to all of you!!!!

New Year's Resolution
Hello! good morning to you. Christmas holiday is almost over now it is time to get back in shape how would i control my eating habbit? before christmas my weight is 106 lbs. and now i think 109 lbs. because more parties going on in here I keep eating and I can't avoid it the foods is soo yummy and delicious looking.

New Year's Resolution
I had a baby about five months ago and have been pigging out ever since. My New Year's resolution is simply to eat healthy. Hopefully, that and exercise will do the trick.

A tip
Hi, 
I believe this tip + exercise +eating healthy helped me loose weight. In your cereal add two tablespoons of flax seed. Ground two tablespoons and add them to your cereal. You are not only getting all the benefits of the flax seed you are adding fiber to your diet. Your toxins will move out!!
