Page 2 of 2 Exercise videos and DVDs: Are they worth their weight in gold, or do we buy they with high hopes, only to see them end up as dust-catchers on a shelf? Recently, I've started working out again with my trusty Pilates video: Stott Pilates 22-Minute Mat Workout. This particular title is from 2001, and I'm not sure if it's even available anymore, but the Stott Pilates line is still around. I really enjoy this particular video because it's truly a beginners workout; even with my out-of-shape arms, legs, and core, I can still perform the marjority of the excercises.
And the results are noticable after a few weeks, at least to me. My stomach muscles feel tighter, my upper arms are firmer, and my legs have a sleeker look. I don't look runway-ready, but I'm happy to report that I look better than I did a few weeks ago. How about you? Have you had good results with an exercise video, or do you prefer working out in a gym or health club?
