There are some statements that simply are profoundly true. The following is such                                

a statement:                                                                                                                                                                        

“Mothers and Caregivers consistently give an amazing abundance of kindness

and love with no thought of reward or reciprocity”. 

Long ago, an unknown author told the tale of just such a woman:

“A caring woman was traveling in the mountains and found a precious stone in a               

stream she crossed.  The next day, she met another traveler who was hungry; so 

she opened her bag to share her food with him.                                

THE PRECIOUS STONE

The hungry traveler saw the precious stone and asked the caring woman to give it

to him.  She did so without hesitation.  The traveler left, rejoicing in his good

fortune.  He knew the stone was worth enough to give him security for a lifetime.

But a few days later he came back to return the stone to the caring woman....

SOMETHING MORE PRECIOUS                                                                               

‘I know how valuable the stone is’, he said. ‘But I give it back in the hope that        

you can give me something even more precious. Please give me what

 you have within you that enabled you to share your valuable stone

with a stranger.’

The caring woman softly replied:  ‘You already have it within you; you must

simply be willing to use it.’ “

 

THIS MOTHER'S DAY - THE TREASURE WITHIN                     

This Mother’s Day, all your  Café friends hope that  your family give you

the greatest gift of all and show you the same amazing abundance

 of kindness and love that you share everyday with those you love!!
